Hawaiian Territorial Guard (HTG) & Varsity Victory Volunteers (VVV) - Japanese American ROTC students played important roles in the Hawaiian Territorial Guard and then the Varsity Victory Volunteers, helping pave the way for widespread participation of Japanese Americans in the U.S. military in World War II.
